Telecommunications Technician

UBConnect experiences increasing demand for telecommunications technicians that will be engaged in projects located in Norway.
Primary tasks:
- Installing mobile base stations (BBU, RRU, fiber and DC cables, etc.)
- Inspecting and testing the operation of telecommunications equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning (use of Site Master, TEMS, JDSU, Thales, or similar tools)
- Diagnosing and locating equipment faults, and adjusting, replacing telecommunications equipment
- Installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment and systems, or supporting steel structures
- Submitting project status reports, filling of check-lists, inputs for As built documentation production
- Performing other laboring and elementary tasks as required
- Electrician/ DSB approval (group L for electrician low voltage) (will be an advantage)
Requirements:
- At least (four year) high school degree in the field of electricity, electro-mechanics, telecommunications, and similar
- Experience in managing telecommunications equipment of Mobile Operators
- Understanding of transmission, broadcasting, control, and operation of telecommunications systems
- Work on height license
- Work experience in Scandinavian countries is an advantage, but not a must
- Fluency in English
- Driving license B category (BE Category is an advantage)
- Independent and responsible person
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
